PTA Communications Committee
The PTA Communications Committee initiates and maintains communication between PTA, parents, and school faculty regarding PTA goals, activities, events, and accomplishments. Our responsibilities include:
- Running the E-News email list, with weekly news of school events.
- Maintaining the PTA bulletin board in the front lobby. Posted information includes PTA calendar, agenda, general meeting minutes, officer/committee information, other upcoming/completed activities, and items of general interest to parents and faculty.
- Maintaining the sign board/marquee outside the school. Posted information includes the school calendar, PTA meetings, and items of general community interest.
- Contributing PTA information for the monthly Crofton Communicator school newsletter.
- Advertising upcoming PTA events using "kidmail" flyers, the sandwich board at the school entrance, and the Crofton News-Crier newspaper.
- Maintaining this website.
It's a small committee but we do a lot. If you're interested in lending your design talents, contact the
