The Crofton Elementary School PTA Budget is developed by the Board and approved by the General Membership, with occasional revisions by the General Membership as necessary through the year. The budget is maintained by the CES PTA Treasurer.
Our primary sources of income are membership dues and fundraisers. The Fundraising Committee is the main fundraising arm of the Crofton Elementary School PTA. Many of the fundraisers are also FUN!

Our primary expenses are student assemblies during the school day, funding the Junior Achievement and Destination ImagiNation programs, required PTA dues to the state and national organizations, the teacher reimbursement program for classroom supplies, and purchasing items for school improvements as requested by the school principal. The CES PTA also has a multitude of smaller expenses that enrich our school, including the PAW Printers program of student publishing, Game Night and other FREE family-oriented programs, and purchasing equipment for the PE program. If you have incurred expenses for a PTA function, download the Check Request Form to submit the receipt(s) for reimbursement (PDF, 274K). Fill out the form and drop it to the PTA box in the teachers' lounge. Note that original receipts are required. The CES PTA treasurer will write a reimbursement check for you.
Show your Crofton Elementary spirit! Every Friday is "Spirit Day," where you can show your classroom's spirit with Spirit Wear clothing. There are two ways to get CES Spirit Wear: at events and online.
A selection of Spirit Wear is available at most CES PTA functions.
Look for t-shirts, long-sleeve tees, hoodies, and other spirited fashion items. (Two of the color schemes are pictured on our handsome models to the right.) These items come in a variety of colors and sizes, all perfect for showing school spirit.
Also available again this year - magnetic bumper stickers for every car in your family, and maybe a refrigerator!
"The Cub Den" is open, with beautiful embroidered special-order Spirit Wear items. This web page is available for online ordering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Spirit Wear ordered through "The Cub Den" is delivered straight to your door, with an estimated one-week turnaround. A small portion of each order benefits the CES PTA, to support our programs and school improvements.

Every dollar you order benefits Crofton Elementary. The PTA receives 4% to 12% of the card's value, which we use to fund school programs and school improvements. And it doesn't cost you a dime!

A Jump Start form will come home with your child in the early part of the school year, and will also be posted here when available.
You've seen the truck around your neighborhood, delivering frozen entrees and other food to your neighbors. Now you can try it!
By special arrangement, a Schwan's Home Delivery truck will be at selected PTA events. Schwan's delicious frozen food will be available for sale. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Crofton Elementary PTA, which supports our school. Event dates will be published as they occur.
