Mission of the PTA

The Crofton Elementary School PTA has three goals:

• be a resource for new parents and families
• be a source of on-going information about the school to parents and staff
• develop new leaders and find ways to involve parents in the school

The mission of the National PTA is three-fold:

• To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children
• To assist parents in developing the skils they need to raise and protect their children
• To encourage parent and public participation in the public schools of this nation.
